Hurricane Katrina - Small Animal Relief Efforts

Help us help the small animals in the Katrina disaster.

Our website, www.pigloo.net and the SC Guinea Pig Rescue are teaming up with other rescues to help make a difference. Several volunteers will be devoting their time in clean up and care of the homeless and yet to be reclaimed pets lost in this tragedy.

If you can find it in your heart to help us, it is greatly appreciated.
We are looking for the following items:

• Weighted food bowls
• Water bottles
• Hay
• Guinea pig, rabbit and ferret food stuffs. (non perishables please)
• Towels for drying and or housing
• Carriers for travel
• Bedding
• Cages to house them
• Vitamin C tablets
• Critical Care supplement
• Syringes for feedings (no needles)
• Bunny bath shampoo
• Combs and brushes

Any and all donations are tax deductible, and receipts can be provided. There is a PayPal account set up if a simple monetary donation is preferred. We would like to thank you, and say thank you for the many helpless animals we will be rescuing.
